Role:

Dermatologikum is a multi-location dermatology group with forty years of clinical heritage and sites in Hamburg and Berlin. A Bonn clinic was due for refurbishment. Together with Quinnat, I developed a spatial and brand concept titled “The Architecture of Skin”, built to express the clinical authority of its physicians through the built environment.
The concept rests on five ideas: layered materiality, engineered precision, institutional identity, material honesty and surface evolution. Spaces are treated as an extension of the physician’s standard of care rather than a standalone aesthetic. I authored the concept, from naming and written rationale through art direction, material and photography direction, and presentation design. Concept visualisation was developed through AI visualisation tools and workflows, which I used to apply the principles to the Bonn clinic refurbishment. The result is a client-ready concept deck that aligns the spatial vision with the group’s positioning work.
