Role:
Joining Burberry straight after university, I was immersed in the brand’s world of luxury design and conceptual storytelling. As part of the interior and architecture team, I contributed to early-stage ideation for global retail spaces and experiential concepts.
Joining Burberry straight after university, I was immersed in the brand’s world of luxury design and conceptual storytelling. As part of the interior and architecture team, I contributed to early-stage ideation for global retail spaces and experiential concepts.
A key project was the Burberry Penthouse in Los Angeles, a private suite above the Rodeo Drive store. With its own entrance and rooftop terrace, the Penthouse was conceived as a personalised and intimate shopping destination, complete with bespoke furniture, dressing rooms, fitting areas and entertaining space. My role involved hand-sketching room layouts, bespoke furniture and detailing, developing concepts that later informed the finished design.
In parallel, I worked with Burberry’s in-house events, digital media and graphic design teams to reimagine the runway experience. For the AW14 London Fashion Week show, we explored new ways of combining atmosphere, lighting and live performance to capture the energy of London and redefine Burberry’s theatrical approach to events - ideas that went on to shape subsequent shows.
